So This Was Christmas
I have to admit I’m happy and relieved Christmas is finally over.. not that it was bad or anything, but I’m just ready for a fresh start in 2013.
Kevin and I had 3 options for Christmas plans, and I think we made the best decision. On Christmas Eve, Kevin visited with his dad as I traveled in the opposite direction to visit with my mom and grandma. We then reconvened Christmas Eve night and had all of Christmas Day for just the two of us which was SO nice.
I ♥ spending time with my husband, especially when he gives me an early Christmas present of fancy caramels. I LOVE caramel.. more so than chocolate. The name ‘Mouth Party’ would not be my first choice for a caramel candy company, but they are quite yummy. I highly recommend them. The Cappuccino is amazing!

The weekend before Christmas I made some Candy Cane Fudge Kiss cookies, which were pretty darn delicious.. and pretty!

Christmas Day, I stayed in my jammies (festive ones!) all day and of course, had to take the required Instagram feet pic.

This is my husband’s collection of manly gifts from yours truly which amazingly enough look really awesome together and made for a good product shot.

This is a butterfly in a jar but not a real one, mind you. I have no idea how it works.. batteries, metal wire, tap the lid, butterfly flutters around.. ?!? It’s awesome though and will surely aid in my time management and productivity.

I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season and are excited for the New Year! ♥
